I live on a small acreage that's been home for nearly 13 years now. Am happy and enjoying life am retired and wondering how I had time to work. My dad said that I sound like the other old guys which didn't take long!
Cooking canning minor home upgrades renovations tinkering in the shop and prepping for hard times are things that I enjoy doing. The pantry is full of cans home preserves and dry goods.
I'm not sure of the type of lady (if any) that I'm looking for. As a recovering alcoholic it's put a different spin on things for me as I have to learn how to live. I also have autism so some things I don't process the same way as neurotypical people do. As a result I have difficulty relating to others and in turn they have difficulty relating to me. It's no one's fault
rather it is the way that it is.
I believe that I'm looking for someone of Indigenous or Metis origin. However I'm open to other ethnicities as well. I want someone who enjoys quiet country living to hold cuddle and visit with in the evening.
Growing up in the 70s and 80s it was difficult for me as autism wasn't in the limelight until Dustin Hoffman and the Rainman movie came out. This resulted in society making efforts to include folks such as myself.
These things resulted in me being disenfranchised from mainstream society. As a result I developed friendships and relationships with the Metis and Indigenous people who were and are disenfranchised from society and in some cases each other.
Most of my dates courtships and yes I have been married to an Indigenous woman for 30 years whom I've been notified that I am separated from. I believe that I have stated what my comfort zone is.
I have my son who's Indigenous has a wife and family. He's a hard worker intelligent has a good job with fiber optics takes overtime and is at the top of his pay scale.

There was a woman with her little girl
The little girl ran up to hug me and I hugged her. I told her "I'm a grandpa too"! On my way home a mom and her little girl were going for a walk. The little girl smiled and waved at me and I smiled and waved back. Children are such a blessing! - Segno zodiacale Cancro
